Let me tell you about my experience: When I was twelve years of age, I was top of my class in primary school, along with three other lads in our all-boys school. I have an IQ last measured at over 170 points. However, I completely switched off in secondary school because it was boring, uninspiring and they were trying to make me into a robot, and I wasn’t having it. I rejected their system and developed and educated myself ever since. But it took me years and years to figure out how to do that. The truth is that IQ only covers verbal and mathematical ability. There are six other important intelligences in life. As a result, you can have school intelligent people that are ineffective in the real world. The farther people go in the system, the worse they often are regarding independent thought and perceptiveness.  We've seen that very obviously in recent years. I didn’t want to go down that road. I wanted to be the best version of myself. It’s a lifelong journey, but I’m very proud that I can see the big picture and can really help others. We can have the best of both worlds. Plenty of people are street smart and can see the big picture, but they need methods to tackle information and curriculums they want to succeed with. If I were back in secondary school now, I wouldn’t switch off because I’d have all the methods to make it interesting, ace my exams and develop all eight of my intelligences simultaneously. Instead, I did that later myself. And it took tens of thousands of hours of research and hard work to figure it out.
